Den-O’s 4th Movie

Just how many Den-O movies is enough?

Kamen Rider Den-O is a Kamen Rider series from 2007-2008, and like every other Heisei Rider series, they had a movie during the series. But, because of the popularity of the show, they had another movie a few months later called “Kamen Rider Den-O & Kiva: Climax Deka”, basically a collabaration of Den-O and the next Rider series, Kiva.

And the movie was horrible. A complete waste of my time.

Then, during the Kiva series airing in 2008, they came up with another movie called “Saraba Kamen Rider Den-O: Final Countdown”, this time with a new Rider for the movie. The DVD was just released a few days ago and I watched it. If I’m not wrong, the word “saraba” means farewell, and on the poster it says “The Last Den-O”…

This was surprisingly good. Toei got serious with this movie, which is a good thing.

On the last movie poster it says, “The Last Den-O”. But, everyone knows that it’s all a lie, because now they have another movie premiering at the same time Decade, which is the 2009 Rider series, is airing. It’s called “Cho Kamen Rider Den-O & Decade NEO Generations: The Onigashima Battleship”. (First picture of this post) This time, they have another movie Rider along with Den-O getting a minor upgrade. I’m actually kind of excited to see this movie… but seriously, when will they end Den-O once and for all?
