iPhone 2.2 Firmware

leave a comment »

I have just updated my iPhone with the new 2.2 firmware and I have to say: It’s exceptionally stable.Sure, 2.1 fixed numerous bugs, but I think the build is rather unstable. Before I updated to 2.2, the phone freeze on me at least once a day, the ‘edit home screen buttons’ feature accidentally activates on itself for no reason sometimes. (well I tapped on the home screen, but I didn’t hold my finger down on the screen)

Another one, Safari crashing like WWIII is coming, choppy transition between pages of apps on home screen, along with choppy transitions when going into an app or quiting. (maybe I have too much apps, I don’t know.)

The 2.2 firmware kindly fixes all these lousy ‘bugs’, now I feel like I really own an iPhone 3G now. ^^
